We just wrapped up our attendance at the SLUSH conference in Helsinki, and the experience was unlike anything we’ve seen before. The event truly showcased the dark side of investing and raising capital – and if you want that intensity, you go to HEL (Helsinki). Everything was masterfully staged around the HEL theme: flamethrowers, dark curtains, dimmed light bulbs, secret meeting rooms, smoke-filled air, and red strobe lasers cutting through the atmosphere. It created an environment that felt both dramatic and electrifying, a perfect match for conversations about risk, ambition, and scale.

For PLUNID, this was our first time participating at SLUSH, and the impact was profound. We encountered many like-minded founders, operators, and investors who came ready to talk real business. When we spoke about capital, people answered in the same language: six figures, seven figures, millions, billions, unicorns, and even decacorns. It was a place where dreams and ambition naturally blended into the conversation.

The crowd was a dynamic mix suits, executives, operators, and relaxed innovators – yet everyone seemed aligned in their pursuit of meaningful opportunities. We noticed investors’ eyes light up when they heard our ideas, and that reaction confirmed that they truly understood our business model and the revenue potential behind it. That moment of connection was mutual; even we smiled when hearing new viewpoints on our technology’s possible applications. These insights sparked ideas that had not crossed our minds during research and development, proving once again that the right environment fuels innovation.

We deeply appreciate every investor who took the time to engage in a short introductory conversation with us. Their questions, curiosity, and perspectives added value far beyond the minutes we spent speaking. Those who expressed doubt about the PLUNID vision only strengthened our resolve and added more wind to our sails. Those who believed in the project gave us a strong sense of validation and proved that our work is not only relevant but understood.

Slush 2025 reminded us that meaningful progress happens at the intersection of courage, conversation, and creativity.
